Who We Are

Appalachian Financial Literacy Group LLC serves the needs of federal employees, business owners, and other hard-working professionals. Our team of instructors and support staff work together to teach education-based seminars on a variety of topics to help build financial peace of mind.

We specialize in teaching classes on both the Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) and the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS). Many of our instructors hold the designation of Charted Federal Employee Benefit Consultant (ChFEBC℠). This designation requires extensive training to ensure comprehensive understanding of the benefits federal employees receive throughout their career.

Depending on your specific needs, we offer both 1-Day and 2-Day courses for the following:

• FERS - Regular (New Hires, Mid-Career, Pre-Retirement)

• FERS - Special Provisions (New Hires, Mid-Career, Pre-Retirement)

• CSRS (Pre-Retirement)
